1. Where is my apartment?
All studio apartments are at Lubelska 12, only 15 minutes walk from the Old Town. Please have a look at the street map of Krakow, yellow arrow points at our apartment building at Lubelska 12 - mapa.jpg (65KB)
2. Why SODISPAR Apartments are so attractive?
All studio apartments are beautifully furnished and fully equipped. You have Satelite TV and private phone number, Internet access via Ethernet. You get more space and privacy than in a hotel room. Prices are all inclusive (free local calls*, weekly cleaning service, new bed linen and towels, electricity, heating, water).
3. How much does it really cost?
We charge for studio apartment, not per person. If you stay with your family or friends and share the cost, you get excellent value for money. The price per person may be as low as 10$ per night, which is comparable only with hostels or pensions (not available in the center of Krakow). Our prices are very competitive for extended stays over one week and you can save 50% for stays over 30 days. Additionaly, we offer discounts to repeat customers and companies.
4. What are terms & conditions?
We want to keep our prices very competitive, so you have to pay for your whole stay in advance and there is no refund for earlier departures or no show. To keep servicing costs low we do not have reception and require 3 nights minimum stay. Prices drop dramatically if you stay 7 days or longer. Our studio apartments are self-catering - we do not serve breakfasts, but you have kitchen facilities and grocery round the corner.
5. How can I make a booking (reservation)?
You have to contact us by email or phone and ask about availibility. You may book up to 3 months in advance. To secure your booking we may require 20% deposit. We may also accept and confirm your booking without deposit, but it is solely to our decision.
6. What if I have to cancel my booking (reservation)?
We may keep 20% deposit.
7. What if I have to change my booking (reservation)?
You have to cancel your booking and make a new one.
8. How can I get to Lubelska 12 when I arrive to Krakow?
We strongly recommend taxi, because it is still cheap in Krakow. Licensed taxis (taxi 919) are available at the Balice airport and train station (at the parking above the platforms). It takes aprox. 30 minutes from the airport (10-15$) or 15 minutes from the train station (2-4$).
9. How can I get the keys when I arrive to Lubelska 12?
We are waiting for you at the approximate time of your arrival. You get code to the front door and code to your apartment (keys will be in your room). We ask to call us when you arrive from your room or from free phone in the building. You may also use entry phone - please press SODISPAR or 8 W.DOBRZANSKI.
10. How can I use the phone in my studio apartment?
You can make local calls for free*. Other calls (international, national, to mobiles) are available through special phone cards. They are different than those for public phones with magnetic stripe or chip. You can use TPSA cards (TELEKARTA TP) or TELEPIN available at the post office. With these cards you call access number and enter PIN code printed on the card, then you enter the number you wish to call. We usualy have some phone cards available. International phone cards with 00800 access number are also accepted.

11. How can I get on foot from my studio apartment to the Old Town?
It takes only 15 minutes to get to Market Square. From the apartment building at Lubelska 12 turn left and take first right (Slaska), cross Aleja Juliusza Slowackiego (avenue with three lanes at each direction separated by green belt) and pass along Fruit Market (Nowy Kleparz), continue along Dluga street for about 10 minutes (2 tram stops) and you will get to Planty - green belt around the Old Town.
12. How can use taxi to get to the Old Town?
It takes only 5 minutes by taxi and cost roughly 8-10PLN. Taxi rank is next to the apartment building, but you can call radio taxi from your studio apartment and the taxi will come within 5 minutes (the only problem is that operator rarely speaks English).
